No deaths to report. Yet.
This is perhaps the most entertaining part of the game - when no one has died, and everyone is looking over their shoulders. Who will scream at the poor mailman tomorrow as he approaches with that unexpected package?
While we wait for that first CSI report, let's enjoy some beautiful knitting. Our Amused KAL is well underway, with at least 2 finished sweaters!
Mine is at the collar, which I decided to knit before the sleeves.
I'm using Baby Alapca Chunky in black. I seem a bit obsessed with black lately. Don't you find that you go through color phases? I'm slowing pulling out of my turquoise/blue period, and am sliding into purples and blacks. Yes, blacks. Have you noticed how there are an infinite variations of black? Well, I guess there are with any color. But, it fascinates me with black - a color that you would think of as solidly just black. And yet, it's not. Especially in fiber. There are so many variables, from the property of the fiber, the dye, to the way the light catches it. This just one of those things that non-knitters don't get about our world. Poor things.
The incredible Ms. Patti, who despite having deserted us for Canada, is still knitting with us. She is the first to complete Amused. Check out how she carried the cable down the front to meet the ribbing.
