Phew! It's been a busy week. So much to tell you about.
First, a big thank you to everyone for the successful sale on Saturday. It was fun to see everyone, hear what you are currently knitting, and get to see you plan your next project. With your help, we managed to make room for some of the great yarns currently arriving, but there is still some of the summer stock left. So... we've decided to extend the sale through this coming Saturday. Baskets are spread around the shop full of fabulous deals - many of which are also to be found through the online store.

Now, back to the week in review!
KAN (Knit at Night) and KISS (Knit In the Shop on Saturday) were just amazing as we had finished lace projects to see, and many Concetta Cardigans being cast on the needles.
Barbara and her lovely Kiri:

Cheryl and her gorgeous triangle shawl (sorry, forgetting the name). Notice the fabulous shawl pin? That is an Annie Adams pin. We are almost sold out of our first batch. I need to reorder!

Peggy's Seascape, and Luanne's scarf from Ocean Breezes, knit with Cascade Fixation:

Susan's beautiful socks, and Jen's stunning shawl:

Adrienne's Show Your Colors Shawl, and Sue's SeaGlass scarf:

Michelle's incredible KNITTED beaded butterfly bag:

Our Concetta KAL got started in the best possible way. After all, how often do you get the ACTUAL DESIGNER to stop by and knit while you cast on?

Elizabeth cheered us on, answered questions, and even brought the original sweater! It will be on display in the shop. Thank you!!!

Here are the beginnings of a few Concettas:

That last one would be mine. I'm using Malabrigo Worsted in the Polar Morn colorway. Can you tell I'm loving working on this project? It is practically knitting itself.
In the hours before KAN started, we got a real treat - we hosted a bridal party knitting adventure!

See the lovely girl in the middle with the lobster veil? That would be our Charlotte - a member of KAN from back in her Bowdoin days. Saturday, she and Dave (another Bowdoin alum) got married. The weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful, and the groom couldn't have been happier. Congratulations to you both!!
With all that's been happening, I've neglected keeping you posted on the arrival of new stuffs. There just isn't room now to do it all justice, so I'll leave you with the highlights.
Fall Interweave Knits is in! I recommend getting one SOON as they will not last long.

Our first batch of Noro Kureyon, Silk Garden, and Iro is making its way to the shelves. This color of Silk Garden has us particularly entranced:

More Dream in Color Classy skeins are waiting for happy homes.

I snagged some of the Classy in Gothic Rose to knit my favorite of the new Chic Knits patterns - the Mondo Cable Cardi.

It comes with a capped sleeve version and that's the one I'll be knitting.
That doesn't catch us up, but it's a start.
