Battle of the Soxes II assignments are out

Hi all.  It's Peter.

34 players spread across 10 states/provinces in 2 countries.  The registrations are in, and the assignments have now been e-mailed to all participants.  If you're playing, or you thought you were playing, and you didn't receive an assignment e-mail, please let us know ASAP at battle AT theknittingexperience.com so we can sort it out.

As a reminder, the pattern will be released Friday night right here on the blog.  The assignment e-mail contains some details so that you can start planning and swatching, which I've also included below.  This information is all that will be released prior to the pattern being published.

Note that there was a discussion on Ravelry of including Ravelry names so that people could look up their victims to get ideas for favorite colors, etc.  Where they have been provided to us, we have included them.  There are others that we knew, but did not include, just in case it was a strategic decision on the part of the assassin to omit this information.

Drop us a note if there are any questions or clarifications that need to be provided.  Before Friday, we'll post a send out a final reminder about the process, assassin etiquette, and lessons learned from last year that will help to keep things as fair and fun as possible.
