I am thrilled to announce that we now carry the Booga Bag pattern. This famous -and very popular- felted bag pattern hasn't been available for awhile as the designer worked on enhancing the pattern with a mini-Booga Bag bonus, and Bigger and Biggest Booga Bags designs. The Booga Bag family is now complete and we thought the happy collection would make the perfect Inspiration Monday.

The Original Booga Bag took advantage of the beautiful color transitions of the Noro Kureyon yarn. The new Bigger and Biggest Booga Bags use the Noro Kureyon for the colorful sides, and Cascade 220 for a sturdy base. (For the Original Booga, you'll need only 3 skeins of Noro Kureyon. For the Bigger and Biggest, you will need 3 or 4 skeins of Kureyon, and 2 skeins of Cascade 220 for the base.)
The Booga Bag became so popular because of it's simplicity. It is the perfect first felting project, or fabulous quick knit gift!
NOW, we interrupt your regular yarn-themed content for something completely different:
Please indulge me for a moment. I need to use the blog for a little family business. You see, my younger brother is currently deployed with the Navy.

He and his family are stationed in San Diego, so we don't get to see them that often. This weekend we had a rare treat. My sister-in-law, Andrea, brought their 3 kids to Maine to visit. On Sunday, we got together at my parents house and the cousins were together for the first time in probably 2 years! It was amazing to see them all together. Since Jay is on deployment, he missed seeing all the kids and I thought that posting the pictures here would be the easiest way of sharing. So, Jay, these are for you. We miss you and love you!
