The much anticipated Made in Brooklyn pattern collection from designer Jared Flood is here!

The patterns are incredible. A quick sample of my top picks:

If you reserved one, don't worry we set it aside. If you didn't claim one, hurry - these aren't going to last long!
In the same shipment we received the latest issue of Curvy Knits: Cambridge by Jillian Moreno and Classic Elite.

Check out this sweater:

I adore the lacey yoke.
Becka made another great call in insisting that we get the first edition of the new knitting magazine, St - Denis. The primary designer is Véronik Avery, and contributors include: Pam Allen, Jared Flood, Franklin Habit, and Ysolda Teague.

As you might expect, the patterns are stunning. My favs:

We also restocked Johns Bay from Classic Elite.
This collection contains the very popular Drape Front Cardigan.

I made it out of Euroflax Linen and I'm seriously considering making a cold weather version.

The arrival of August means that there is a new Spunky Eclectic Color of the Month! Introducing Panda sock yarn, a superwash merino/bamboo/nylon blend in the Vineyard colorway. As always, the color of the month is 15% off until the end of August or the yarn is gone.

How are those Concetta Cardigans coming along? Seems there was a teeny tiny error on the pattern. The original version -which has been corrected- had you placing the buttonhole band on the left side, but it SHOULD be on the RIGHT. A minor, yet important detail. Many thanks to the designer, Elizabeth Smith, for alerting us to the problem and immediately sending out corrected patterns.
The body is done on my Concetta. I'm working on the arms now.

Kiri finally got blocked this week. Isn't it lovely?

Connor and Alec helped me with the photo shoot. While that meant I found pictures such as these on my camera:

It also meant that they saw something I didn't. See this shot of the sky?

It's the same color as my Kiri and Concetta.

So, the question is, have the grey skies of this summer permanently damaged my ability to appreciate color? Or, have they just shown me the beauty of the unappreciated greys?
