Looky what UPS brought today:
It's a brand new sock yarn series from Dream in Color called Knitosophy. The yarn itself is the same squishy, superwash 100% superfine Australian Merino that you'll find in their Smooshy. But the dye technique is new. Knitosophy is Flash Dyed creating completely unique skeins in which the color plays out randomly. I fell in love with the yarn, the colors, and even the beautiful labels, so we brought in all 8 colors. Right now, I'm trying to decide which color needs to be my next pair of socks. I'm thinking Laugh. But Blossom and Butterfly are also in the running. Hmmmm....
While I consider color choices, I thought you should see other fabulous new sock yarn from Dream in Color: Starry.
Starry also uses superfine Australian merino, but adds a little sparkle to jazz up your sock or any project. Admittedly, this yarn came into the shop 2 weeks ago and most of it disappeared in the first few days. I grabbed a skein of a deep blue, and am working it into a shawl. It looks like the night sky. (Pictures soon!) I can't even tell you how much I love knitting with sparkles! Only a few skeins of our first shipment remain, but more will be coming.
