Conquer Fair Isle Knitting
and
The Dreaded Steek!
In the first of these two classes, Amy King will teach you how knit color work using the traditional fair isle technique.
Once you've mastered fair isle, it's time to take your knitting to the next level, by learning how to steek. Fair isle is often knit in the round. To make a cardigan, you steek, or cut the front of the sweater, secure the loose ends, and add your border.
These two classes can be taken as a series, or individually. During the second class, you will be steeking the garment -an adorable teddy bear vest- you created in the first class. Anyone wishing to just take the steeking class, must get the fair isle pattern in advance and complete the project.
Conquering Fair Isle: TBA • $35 per person
The Dreaded Steek!: TBA • $35 per person
