If you have die, why not go out with beautiful socks, and this:

That's how Wendy took out Betsey. We hear an obit is being composed and will be shared later.
Cheryl - like any proper assassin - wanted to be sure to finish the job. Rather than pack extra socks, she lined the box with a little Hemlock and a recipe.

"Dear Bethany,
In case these sox don't kill you,
The hemlock surely will.
Just mince it fine in water
And run it thru your still.
(Kidding! Please don't eat or drink it!!!!)
I hope I've killed you gently,
and these sox will chase the chill.
Maybe with your toes warm
You'll bear me no ill will.
Please don't take it personal.
It's just a game, you see.
Sure hope you like these special sox
Made just for you....by me.
Hope to meet you someday!
Sincerely,
Cheryl"
Beth did not imbibe the hemlock, but the socks were too tempting.

Beth asked that her obit read:
"Bethany Drolet, went to join her comrades in Sock Heaven at 11:01am on Tuesday, February 12th. She was a loving wife and mother, happy knitting prodigy, and faithful friend. She is survived by her husband, Roger and their 4 year old son Xander. They are happy that her feet are warm though. R.I.P."
Esta completed her second kill of the game when Emily opened these patriotic socks.

The socks were begun by Lizzie, finished and em"BELL"ished by Esta.
Mara and Wendy both report their deaths. At this time we have no pictures to share, but stay tuned.
And it shall be quite interesting to watch the updates from Jennifer. She just received the socks in progress intended for her next victim. Thus far, they have been in 4 different knitters' hands. Jennifer is the 5th. Could you be the target?
Stay warm and safe everyone. Maine is expecting a wicked storm tonight and tomorrow. Our good friends in Missouri just had an awful ice storm. Make some tea, wrap a blanket around yourself, and knit.
